Unfortunately, using hairspray will almost always result in some over-spray, which when used repeatedly it in the same place, could lead to build up. Select one of the cleaning methods below to remove the hairspray, and continue trying other methods if needed until the spray is removed.

You Will Need:
- Rubbing alcohol
- White vinegar
- Baby shampoo
- Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
- Glass cleaner
- A dryer sheet
Steps to Remove the Hairspray:
- Pour some rubbing alcohol on a cloth and wipe the area with the cloth.¹
- Combine equal parts of water and white vinegar. Dampen a cloth with the solution and use it to wipe off the hairspray.²

Additional Tips and Advice
- Always stand in the shower when using hairspray so that the overspray will be rinsed away daily. This is particularly important if you have carpet or rugs in the bathroom, as the hairspray will allow them to gather dirt more easily.¹
